How much does it cost to rent a mobile CT?
It depends on what you need. Cost is driven by the system, how long you need it, whether the trailer is parked long-term or shared on a route, whether it’s staffed by your team or ours, and the site preparation involved. Every service is built around the facility, so the quickest way to a real number is to request mobile imaging with your modality, timeline, and site.
Is a mobile CT as good as a scanner in a hospital?
Our mobile units use OEM systems also installed in fixed imaging suites, in configurations approved for mobile use. Your regional team can review the scanner, software, and exam requirements with you.
What does a mobile CT trailer need on site?
Requirements include level parking space, 480V 3-phase power, secure site access, and network connectivity for image transfer. For CT, your regional team walks through your pad, power, and access with you, and site planning assistance is provided.
Is a mobile CT the same as a portable CT scanner?
Not quite. A portable CT scanner usually means a compact unit wheeled to the bedside inside a hospital. A mobile CT is a full CT suite built into a trailer that parks outside your facility, with the same 32 to 160-slice systems used in fixed rooms.
How long can I rent a mobile CT?
Interim rentals can cover weeks or months for a backlog, an upgrade, a renovation, an outage, or an evaluation before an in-house investment.
